Module 04: Mental Health and Old Age In module four, we will explore how mental health declines with age and learn about the types of physical and mental illnesses that are associated with old age, including various learning disabilities, Alzheimer’s and dementia. Module 05: The Quality of Life In module five, we will broaden our knowledge of the term “quality of life” and what it means. It explores loneliness factors, depression and “death anxiety”, as well as how to cope with bereavement. Module 06: Improving Health and Wellbeing In module six, we will discover some strategies and habits for improving quality of life, from exercising to the dietary requirements of older people. It also provides tips on caring for older people and supporting them in their daily activities.
